BAE Systems Australia, the country's most versatile defence and security company, have recently commissioned a DEA Global Performance 12.40.10 CMM for the measurement of JSF F-35 vertical tail components.

This latest CMM, manufactured by Hexagon Metrology, is one of the largest bridge style CMM's in the country and with a working volume of 1.2m x 4.0m x 1.0m will further enhance BAE's inspection capabilities.

BAE Systems latest CMM purchase further increases their existing measurement capabilities which curently includes five other Hexagon Metrology CMM's all supported by Hi-Tech Metrology
